“It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child is able to be creative and to use the whole personality.”

- D. W. Winnicott

Who's it for?

Play Therapy can be a wonderful support for children aged 4–12 who are experiencing challenges at home or school. Through play and creative activities, children can express themselves and share their thoughts and feelings in a way that feels natural and safe.

Play Therapy can help children who are dealing with a wide range of emotional, social, or behavioural difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry
  • Low confidence and self-esteem
  • Anger or frustration management
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Family changes such as divorce or separation
  • Relationship or communication difficulties
  • Bullying (being bullied or bullying others)
  • School-related challenges
  • Behavioural difficulties
  • Physical illness within the family

This approach gives children a safe space to explore feelings, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies.
