About Louise
I am a qualified Play Therapist, based in Rathfarnham, South Dublin, who trained with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC), accredited by Chichester University, England & the Professional Standards Authority in the UK. I have a BA (Hons) Psychology from University College Dublin. I have worked as a Special Needs Assistant for 8 years, with over 5 years specifically in an Autism setting.
I have worked with play therapy clients both privately and in a primary school setting, covering a range of circumstances and needs.
I am Garda vetted and fully insured and can be found on the register of Play Therapists. I attend regular clinical supervision and continuous professional development to ensure my work maintains the highest ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications:
• BA (Hons) Psychology – University College Dublin
• QQI Level 6 – Special Needs Assisting, Portobello College Dublin
• Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills (Leeds Beckett University, England & Play Therapy International)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy (Chichester University, England & Play Therapy International)
